A New Blog on Bible Translation

I'm delighted to see that a former fellow student from the University of Gloucestershire, David Gray, has set up his own blog, entitled FamilleLaGrise (not sure why). David is based in the East and works as a translator for Wycliffe Bible Translators. His first post is on the complexity of doing Bible translation. Give him a peek.

Not wishing to be picky, but the Wycliffe link should be http://wycliffe.org.uk

Ok, I am being picky! Sorry

No worries, I've changed the link (the old one was http://www.wycliffe.org/). You are the director, after all. Why's the second more correct than the first?

Check out the meaning of La Grise in a French dictionary.

Ahhh ... I look it up and thought "gray"?, why "grey"? Then, of course, the penny dropped. Oh, "Gray"! Very cryptic.

The first was a reference to the Wycliffe US site, but David is a Brit so it's probably better to link to the Wycliffe UK site in reference to him. But, as I said, I was being picky.
